<p>Dashometer is a versatile application designed for a wide range of outdoor activities, such as walking, running, cycling, motorbiking, driving, and geocaching. Its features are well-suited for users seeking a detailed and customizable telemetry display.</p>

<p>The dashboard provides telemetry values, including location, heading, altitude, speed, distance, and elapsed time. Users can tap on specific values to modify their display mode; many values also allow unit adjustments with a tap, and further configuration can be accessed via a long-tap.</p>

<h4>Getting Started</h4>
<p>The dashboard interface enables users to start a new trip or continue an existing one by tapping the power icon. An animation will play while the application searches for the user's location, followed by GPS signal strength indicator displayed as 1-5 bars. Users can tap the signal indicator to cease data recording. For detailed instructions, refer to the built-in guide.</p>

<p>Please note that prolonged use of GPS in the background may significantly reduce battery life. Additionally, users with iPod Touch or Wi-Fi-only iPad devices will require an external GPS receiver.</p>

<p>Regular updates are implemented based on user feedback to enhance functionality. The developers encourage users to submit comments and suggestions for new features at dashometer(at)gmail.com for support or feedback.</p>
